Policy Objective
BOSIF is committed to ensuring that decisions are made solely in the interest of the Foundation and its objectives.
This policy seeks to identify, disclose, and manage actual or potential conflicts of interest involving directors, advisors, members, or contributors.
Applicability
This policy applies to:
- Board members
- Advisory Council members
- Committee members
- Officers and key contributors
Key Principles
- Mandatory disclosure of conflicts
- Recusal from decision-making where conflicts exist
- Documentation and transparency of disclosures
- Periodic review and reaffirmation
Failure to disclose or manage conflicts may result in corrective actions, including removal from roles, as per BOSIF policies.
