Purpose of the Advisory Council

The Advisory Council provides non-binding strategic, technical, and ecosystem guidance to BOSIF.

It serves as a forum for experienced practitioners, academics, researchers, and open source leaders to contribute insights and perspectives that support the Foundation’s long-term objectives.

Role and Scope

The Advisory Council may:

• Advise on open source strategy and ecosystem development
• Provide guidance on academic, industry, and community engagement
• Offer insights on emerging technologies and policy considerations
• Support BOSIF initiatives through expertise and mentorship

The Advisory Council does not exercise executive authority or governance control over BOSIF.
